What is it?
This medical treatment uses radio frequency technology to heat adipose (fat) cells to a high enough temperature to cause the destruction of the fat cell’s membrane; the fat cell is therefore also destroyed. The radio frequency technology also stimulates collagen synthesis which results in tissue tightening and lifting.

What is it used for?
For cosmetic reasons, radio frequency technology is used to dissolve fat tissue so the patient may lose unwanted fat and cellulite – losing both pounds and inches! Radio frequency technology is also used on the face to decrease the signs of aging and to decrease unwanted fat (jaw & eye pads).

Yes. Radio frequency technology is used in many fields of medicine. For example, it is used at very high frequencies to ablate tissue in many surgical procedures. How does it work?

What will the treatment be like?
The treatment will involve massage and heat. You will feel the heat on your skin but it will not be uncomfortable. Depending on the size of the are being treated and the amount of fat in the area, your treatment will take between 20 minutes and one hour.

How many treatments are recommended?
